Fire & Cacao Arty Evening

Join us for a candle lit evening, inspired by Hygge – The Danish way of living. We will start the evening with a meditation and short Cacao ceremony. Then Saz will walk you through every step of painting a camp fire in Gouache. Enjoy a cup of ceremonial cacao and a slice of homemade coffee cake (plant based) which is included in your ticket. Autumn Wreath Workshop with Bramble & Blooms

Giant Finger Knitted Pumpkin Workshop

Join us for a cosy autumn workshop where you’ll make your own giant finger knitted pumpkin using gloriously chunky yarn. No needles, No complicated techniques, Just your hands, some beautiful yarn and a couple of hours of creative fun. Finger knitting is wonderfully relaxing and surprisingly easy to learn. I’ll guide you through every step as your pumpkin begins to take shape, making this a brilliant workshop whether you’re completely new to finger knitting or you’ve had a go before. Earth & Fire Workshop: Make your own cacao treats, Tibetan Bowl Meditation & Cacao by the fire pit

As we transition into the end of summer and ease slowly into autumn, as the vibrant energy of summer softens, September invites us to slow down, turn inward, and gently ease into the autumn months. This immersive workshop offers the perfect space to transition with grace, starting with a make your own cacao treats with Claire.
While we wait for our chocolates to firm up, Claire will lead a heart-warming cacao ceremony to anchor your intentions. Before then wrapping the group in the soothing, ancient vibrations of Tibetan bowl meditation. Together we will release any lingering summer heat and settle into a state of deep peace. We will gather around the warmth of the fire pit under the evening sky, sharing connection, letting go of the old, and welcoming the cosy, reflective embrace of the season ahead.

Autumn Morning walk in Delamere Forest

Join Claire & Bec on this autumn morning walk. Step into a living canopy of rustic amber, deep copper, and brilliant gold as the season begins to shift. Delamere Forest in autumn is a raw sensory experience, where the air is thick with the rich scent of damp earth, pine needles, and wild moss. This 6km route will take us off the beaten track and we will enjoy stopping along the way to discuss the flora and fauna around us. Tickets are £8.50. The ticket price includes;

Halloween Storytelling and Walk

Welcome to our spooky story telling and 5km walk through the trees in Delamere Forest. Our evening starts outside the Delamere Station House, in the darkness of the gardens. The quiet screech of the trains arriving, as our professional story teller Helen sets the spooky mood for our walk. We then head off into the forest for our walk through the trees. Our Arty Evenings are relaxing, Saz focuses on the process, not the outcome. It doesn’t matter if you create a masterpiece or not…

It’s not about the Art..

It’s about taking some time for yourself, unwinding, putting yourself first for once. Two hours of getting lost in watercolour paint strokes.

Art is therapeutic, it doesn’t need to look a certain way to help you feel good.

During this evening, we will be learning to paint watercolour robins to help us slowly embrace the festive time. This isn’t about rushing into Christmas, it’s about calmly welcoming it in.

We will start the evening with a short meditation to help ground us. Don’t worry if you’ve never meditated before, or can’t turn your brain off. Take a few moments to listen to Saz as she guides you through a visualisation, inspired by the Robin.

Come with friends, or alone. Leave happier and connected. A beautiful evening, guaranteed. Spaces are limited, so please book early where possible.

Christmas Crafts, Arts and Foodie Markets in Delamere Forest

Our popular Christmas markets are back and this year we are offering an indoor and outdoor market experience. Expect to find beautiful handcrafted Christmas cards, doggy treats, coasters, candles, festive brownies, ceramics, fairy doors, children’s, Christmas garlands illustration books and much more. Also at the markets will be fresh, locally grown Christmas trees for sale, Christmas wreaths, and delicious BBQ hot dogs, rich hot chocolates and mulled wine available from our winter hut. The Delamere Station House will also be serving a full offering of hot and cold drinks and food all day long. The perfect one stop for all things Christmas. Armfullness – Festive Giant Blanket Arm Knitting Workshop

Experience Armfullness at Delamere Station house — a grounding, hands-on workshop where slow stitching meets deep calm. Forget knitting needles. We’re making giant blankets using nothing but our arms! You’ll get a huge 2kg ball of super chunky vegan yarn and I’ll show you how to turn it into a beautiful, snuggly blanket. You don’t need any experience at all. If you can move your arms, you can do this. The best bit isn’t even the blanket. It’s spending a couple of hours switching off, having a laugh, chatting to lovely people and getting completely absorbed in making something with your own hands. People always surprise themselves with what they create, and there’s something really satisfying about walking away wrapped up in a blanket you’ve made from a single ball of yarn. Bring your pet dog along to visit Santa Paws himself! Your dog will have a little conversation with Santa Claus himself, then receive a little festive bauble full of doggy treats (supplied by Kelsall Feeds) and a puppycino. There will be the chance for you to take as many pictures as you like of Santa and your dog. Don’t miss out on this paw-some event in the heart of Delamere Forest. A Magical Cookie-Decorating Workshop…. for little bakers

Children’s Christmas After School Workshop. Perfect for children aged 5–10 who love getting creative at Christmas. Young bakers will decorate festive cookies, learn simple child-friendly techniques, enjoy a cosy seasonal atmosphere, and take home their own delicious creations. Lynda and Gina, who used to make yummy treats at the Biscuit Box, will be leading the fun and helping little bakers turn their cookies into Christmas masterpieces. Christmas Willow Weaving Workshop

Join Sarah for this wonderful festive willow weaving workshop. Sarah from Twigtwisters is the amazing sculpture who has created the willow sculptures at Snugbury’s Ice Cream Farm and many other wonderful creations over the years. We are so fortunate to have her lead these workshops at Delamere Station House. Sarah brings the willow and lets you choose your creation from a star, a robin or an angel. This is a great workshop to bring some festive cheer. Tickets are £42pp and you will also receive a glass of mulled wine of hot chocolate. Santa S’mores Workshop

Join Santa Claus elves for a fun, workshop where children and their grown-ups team up to make delicious s’mores on the BBQ! It’s a perfect chance to get creative, enjoy tasty treats, and share some festive cheer together. Once the S’mores have been created, Santa Claus will come and sit around the BBQ with all the children, and they each get chance to tell him what they would love this Christmas time. This workshop is geared up for the child and for them to meet Santa after. If the adult would like to also make and eat S’mores please book an ADULT S’mores ticket alone. This workshop may alter slightly depending on the weather. The ratio for booking is 1 adult 1 child Ticket price for children includes; S’mores, group meet Santa, on the good list certificate and a baby Christmas tree. Winter Solstice Energy Sound Bath inside the Christmas Tavern

Join Claire for this winter solstice energy sound bath experience inside the Christmas tavern amongst the Christmas trees, around a winter solstice altar. This workshop will begin with an opening circle inviting all of our energies into our space setting our intentions and lighting candles to symbolically welcome the sun back. We will enjoy a cup of ceremonial cacao together and Claire will invite you to listen to some folklore stories, allowing calm and tranquillity to settle in. Following a short meditation, Claire will begin to play the musical instruments and ignite the fire inside us, allowing us to shine, to feel power, allowing us to bring our intentions to the forefront and for new beginnings to take place. At the end of the session (weather permitting) we will gather around a fire pit, eating our festive cacao treats and reflect on our sound bath experience and maybe time for journaling.
